He was predeceased by: his parents, Konstadinos Dimas and Eleni Dimas; his wife Konstadia; and his siblings, Efthimios, Ioannis and Stavroula Kavelas.
He is survived by: his children, Eleni Zaravelis, Maria Dimas and Konstandinos Dimas; his siblings, Evangelos and Marika Papadopoulou; his grandchildren, Dimitri Zaravelis, Sammy Zaravelis, Niko Galatas and Sammy Galatas; and his great grandchild Yianni Zaravelis.
