She was predeceased by : her parents, George Reid and Margaret Reid; and her sister Margie Fleming. She is survived by : her husband David; her sisters, Patricia Davis and Pamela Reid; her brother-in-law Timothy Davis (Chuck); her nieces, Laurin Davis and Erika Burwell (Trey); her brother George Funderburk (Lystra); her goddaughter Minnie McPherson; her sister-in-law Jean Douglas; her nephews, Darryl Fleming, Neil, Robbie and Jeremy Funderburk; and her niece Charity Herron. She is also survived by godchildren, cousins and dear friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, June 29th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Friendship Missionary Baptist Church (3301 Beatties Ford Rd, Charlotte, NC 28216). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, June 29th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
