She is survived by: her husband Scott Wilkerson; her parents, Richard Lake and Simonne Lake; her children, Jeff Wilkerson, Kristin Gomez, Sasha Wilkerson and Katelyn Wilkerson; her sisters, Suzanne Lake, Patti Deese and Debbie Michael-Carroll; and her grandchildren, Lucy, Rex and Sabine Wilkerson.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation and the UNC Charlotte Foundation.
