He was predeceased by: his parents, Mason Baxter Watkins Sr. and Annie Moser Watkins; and his brother Robert Allen Watkins. He is survived by: his wife Jo Watkins; his children, Terri Crump (Jimmy) and Samuel Watkins, Jr. (Robin); his grandchildren, Damon Crump (Kacy), Candis Gray (Jamie), Madi Watkins Hennessee (David) and Mason Watkins; and his great grandchildren, Joshua Gray, Payton Gray, Hannah (Brian), Carson Gray, Bailey Hennessee and Ivy Crump.
