We are sad to announce that on February 21, 2025, at the age of 99, Sadie Weathers of Charlotte, North Carolina, born in Pineville, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Alonzo Neal and Ellie Withers Neal; her spouse Audrey "Shorty" Weathers; and her siblings, Roosevelt Neal Sr., Willie L. Neal, Bessie Neal, O'Dell Neal, Charles L. Neal, Annie M. Mason, Lucille Stewart, Paralee Corbett, Ellen Smith and John T. Neal Sr..

She is survived by: her daughter Robin Wingard (Yancy); her grandchildren, Darrien, James Staton (Kierra), Tariq Staton, Maria Staton, Kavan Staton, Yancy Wingard Jr., Te'Aaron "Tete" Wingard, Jehiel Wingard, Azel Wingard, Jahdiel Wingard of Alpierre, Alijah Wingard, Aaidan Wingard and Robert "Corlione" Wingard; her great grandchild Ta'Mir Wingard; her sisters, Margaret Johnson, Mary Lou Harris, Catherine Tyson and Nancy Neely (Phillip); and her nieces and nephews, Charlene Truesdale, Tanya Wingard, Chrissy Johnson, Darryl and Wayne Tyson. She is also survived by other relatives and dear friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Grier Funeral Service - Memorial Chapel (115 John McCarroll Ave, Charlotte, NC 28216). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
