With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sadie Hough Smith (Charlotte, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 12, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband James Butler Smith; her parents, Dewey Hough and Eulan Hough; her siblings, Neal Hough and Edith Black; and her nephews, Ron Hough and Mark Hough.
She is survived by: her sister Christine Baucom; and her children, Michael (Betsy), Robin Mullis (Robert), Janice Walters (Bryon) and Roger (Shari). She is also survived by seven grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
