She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Woodson Via and Edith Hanby Via. She is survived by: her husband Phillip W. Evans; her children, Susan Thomas (David) of Charlotte, NC and Phillip E. Evans (Carol) of Indian Trail, NC; and her grandchildren, Kathryn Pittman (Daniel), Allison Reeves (Chad), Michael Tarwater (Julia), Benjamin Evans (Heather) and Sarah Moore (Brian). She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Heritage Funeral Home (3700 Forest Lawn Dr, Weddington, NC 28104). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
