We are sad to announce that on February 26, 2024, at the age of 92, Russell P. Baker Jr. of Charlotte, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell P. Baker Sr. and Annie Allen Baker; his wife Ethel Hamlett Baker; and his brothers, Ed Baker, Jack Baker and Roy Baker.

He is survived by: his siblings, Peggy East, Doris Jones, Nancy Fowler, Margaret Jenkins and Larry Baker.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to: Ash Camp Baptist Church, Eureka Baptist Cemetery Fund or Philbeck's Music House.
