She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Holden and Mildred Raines Holden; and her grandson Andrew Pearce Hull. She is survived by: her spouse C. V. Pearce; her children, Lee Tolar (Doug) of Fort Walton Beach, FL, Lynne Hull (Len) of Charlotte, NC and Mark Pearce of Waxhaw, NC; her grandchildren, Meredith Tolar, Lauren Tolar Minyard, Whitney Hull Fulton (Sage), Taylor Pearce (Alla) and Caroline Pearce Adams (Eric); her great grandchildren, Will, Ruby, Drew Fulton, Nash, Penn Minyard, Liam Pearce and Poppy Adams; and her brother Harold Holden of Newport, NC. She is also survived by nieces and nephew.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial gifts in Ruby's memory be directed to either Hospice of Charlotte Region, 1420 E. 7th St., Charlotte, NC 28204, or to King's Cross Church, 3936 Craig Ave., Charlotte, NC 28211.
