He was predeceased by: his sister Patricia Frances Holbrook; and his father Roy Edgar Holbrook. He is survived by: his mother Evelyn Furr Holbrook; his sister Mary Holbrook Rice; his brother-in-law William Kline Rice, Jr.; his nephew William Kline Rice, III (Paul Christopher Rice); his niece Elizabeth Rice Kunze (Nina Katherine Rice); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Judah, Ezra, Micah, Evangeline, Josephine, Noah, Elina, Addie and Jonah.
