He was predeceased by: his parents, Buster Kidwell and Ruby Kidwell; and his brothers, Donald Kidwell, Robert Kidwell, Jerry Kidwell and Philip Farmer.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Miller Kidwell (Carol); his sons, Gregory A. Kidwell (Ginger) of Charleston, SC, Jeffrey S. Kidwell (Susannah) of Atlanta, GA and David S. Kidwell (Lindsey) of Stroudsburg, PA; his grandchildren, Blythe Olivia Kidwell of Athens, GA and Coy Thomas Kidwell of Stroudsburg, PA; and his brother Ralph Kidwell (Renee) of Port Charlotte, FL. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
