He was predeceased by: his parents, Darwin R. Wales and Alice A. Wales; and his siblings, Darwin R. Wales and Eileen M. Kelly. He is survived by: his wife Ellen P. Wales; his children, Kendra W. Ekelund (Bryan) and Thomas D. Wales (Laura); his grandchildren, Arden Wales, Emily Wales, Samuel Wales and Alexander Ekelund; his siblings, Charles A. Wales, John R. Wales and Patricia Cusack; and his close friend Hayes.
