Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Robert Shaw (Charlotte, North Carolina), born in Denver, Colorado, who passed away at the age of 72, on June 10, 2019. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Herschel Shaw and Arline Carlson Shaw; and his brother Dennis Elston Shaw. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Gilmer Shaw; and his siblings, Brian Shaw (Lisa) of Dallas, Texas and Carol Shaw Riggs (Glenn) of Aurora, Colorado. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to WFAE, the public radio station upon which Robert relied for news; or WDAV, to commemorate the contribution that classical music made to his recovery from a heart transplant.
