He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Edmund Allen and Harriet Evelyn Allen; his wife Barbara Rinck Allen; his son Robert M. Allen, Jr.; and his son-in-law Gary Keith Huffman, Sr..
He is survived by: his children, Andrea Allen Huffman, Edmund Lawrence Allen (Lisa) and Pamela Allen Taylor; and his daughter-in-law Debbie Blythe Allen. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and three step-children.
