It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert H. Kayton in Charlotte, North Carolina, born in Newport News, Virginia, who passed away on October 29, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Amy Woodward Kayton and Jack Thomas Kayton; and his brother Jack Kayton II. He is survived by: his wife Donita Brickle; his pet Emma Louise; his children, Amy Kayton Tincher (Dean) and Robert Woodward Kayton (Dana); his grandsons, Reece Kayton (Kayleigh), Kaiser Kayton (Brooke) and Jonah Tincher; his nephew Dr. Jack Kayton (Kahtra); and his cousins, Connie Earhart and Sharon Tessman.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Benson Funeral Services (101 Oak Grove St, Mt Holly, NC 28120). A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
