He is survived by: his sister Betty Sue Rhyne Whitesides; his children, Elizabeth Karen Qureshi (Omar) of Weddington, NC and Charles Leonard Rhyne (Christy) of Rock Hill, SC; his grandchildren, Caleb Rhyne (Taylor), Hannah Lavender (Derek), Rebekah Rhyne, Joshua Rhyne, Monica Rhoten (Sam), Emily Qureshi and Harrison Qureshi; and his great grandchildren, Carter Lavender, Kaden Lavender, Boyd Rhyne and Waylon Leonard Rhyne.
