He is survived by: his wife Lena M. Welch; his children, Jamil Welch (Ryann) and Jovane Hairston; his grandchildren, Jayden Welch, Jamil Welch, Jr. and Zaire Holt; his siblings, Regina Evans, Vincent Welch (Shirley) and Turhan Welch; his mother-in-law Barbara Burroughs; his siblings-in-law, Ellis Daniels (Fredrica) and Renee Daniels-Morings (Michael); his grandson Vincent Welch, Jr.; and his pets, Londynn and Rari. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving family members, friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Park Church (6029 Beatties Ford Rd, Charlotte, NC 28216). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
