It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Estey Sr. (Charlotte, North Carolina), born in Hartford, Connecticut, who passed away on February 7, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Hart Estey and Harold Estey; his children, Timothy Kirk Estey and Robin Estey; and his brother Bernie Estey.

He is survived by: his wife Cecilia Corne Estey; his daughter Rebekah Lowder Doolittle; his grandchildren, Julia Estey and Ben Estey; his brother-in-law Bobby Corne (Candy Burris) of Oakboro; and his daughter-in-law Heather Hanley Estey.
