He was predeceased by: his uncles, Beverly Garrick and William Gaither. He is survived by: his parents, Lucille Gaither and James A. Gaither; his sisters, Kimberly Hailey (Silver Spring, MD) and Robyne (N'gai); and his nephews, Deigh Carlos of Stone Mountain, GA, Dylan Friday of Stone Mountain, GA and Liam Hunter Heath of Asheville, NC. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Jane M. Smith Memorial Church-Jcsu (100 Beatties Ford Rd, Charlotte, NC 28216). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
