She is survived by: her husband Paul Strickland Sr.; her children, Paige Vassar (Greg) of Wilmington, NC and Paul Strickland Jr. (Susan) of Charlotte, NC; her grandchildren, Gray Strickland, Carter Strickland and Finley Vassar; and her sister Judy Smith of Granite Falls, NC..
