He is survived by: his wife Svetlana Svistun; his children, Roman, Vitaliy, Andrey Svistun (Irina) and Natalia Znovets (Vlad); and his siblings, Nadia Parfunova, Anatolie Svistun, Mariya Solod, Valentina Naydonkina, Zoya Svistun, Ivan Svistun, Mikhail Svistun, Tamara Todorovich and Vladimir Svistun. He is also survived by his eleven grandchildren and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
