He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Ignatius Elkovich and Jennie Elkovich; and his wife Patty Elkovich. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Tiffany, Ciarra, Chris, Damien and Kayla; his great grandchildren, Austyn, Ashtyn, Abel, Kaleb and Cooper; and his sisters, Marianne Autorino and Jane Elkovich.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Woodlawn Chapel (375 Woodlawn Ave, Mt Holly, NC 28120). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Peter's Catholic Church (507 S Tryon St, Charlotte, NC 28202). A burial was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Forest Lawn West Cemetery (4601 Freedom Dr, Charlotte, NC 28208).
