Peggy Ann (Swanson) Stemple Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Peggy Ann (Swanson) Stemple of Charlotte, North Carolina, who passed away on July 30, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Edward Francis Stemple; her parents, John Henderson and Beulah Day Swanson; her son-in-law Scott Smith of Cary, NC; her siblings, Warren Swanson, Bill Swanson, Helen Copeland and Janie Chandler; and her close friend Roland DuPont.

She is survived by: her children, James Edward Stemple (Kim) of Trinity, NC, Janet Stemple Smith of Cary, NC, Julie Stemple Starnes (Mike) of Mint Hill, NC and Joel Stemple (Cecelia) of Kernersville, NC.; her grandchildren, Matthew Stemple (Stephanie), Ryan Smith (Claire), Andrew Starnes (Candace), Allison Ranghel (Carlos), Patrick Stemple, Cody Starnes (Brittany), Logan Stemple (Celeste), Brooks Stemple and Ava Stemple; and her siblings, Jack Swanson (Hazel) of Durham, Wallace Swanson of Alabama and Bonnie Swanson of Durham. She is also survived by twelve great grandchildren.
