He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Grier and Jaomi Grier (Jeanette Grier); his brother Earnest Grier; and his daughter Jacqueline Grier. He is survived by: his children, Paula Grier of Charlotte, NC and Paul Grier (Kirstin) of Pennsylvania; his grandchildren, Rico Grier (Julie), DeMario Grier (Lakeshia), Hysien Grier (Lamika), Devin Altland, Cory Grier, Kayla D'Angelo and Jakari Grier; his adoptive daughter Bernadette Grier; and his nephews, Earnest and Terry Grier. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
