It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Pamela Kerr Holt (Charlotte, North Carolina), who passed away on July 25, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Pamela Kerr departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Pamela Kerr may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Pamela Kerr leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bess Grier Kerr and Carl Houston Kerr (Pete). She is survived by: her husband Tom Holt; her stepdaughter Cynthia Holt; her son Jason Lamb (Dee); and her stepgrandchildren, CJ and Joseph.
She was an adamant volunteer for Lungs 2 Live, a non-profit which promoted organ donation and held Transplant Trotters, an annual 5k race to raise awareness and promote organ donation. She would also speak at events on behalf of promoting organ donation as well as donating to various children's hospitals.
