He is survived by: his children, Cynthia Gant (Ron) of North Carolina, Constance Watkins of North Carolina, Rita Watkins of North Carolina, Antoine Watkins (Michelle) of North Carolina and Sherry Watkins of North Carolina; his siblings, Geneva McInnis and Melvin Watkins; and his siblings-in-law, Lester Williams (Bernice) of Maryland, Maxine Watkins of North Carolina and Virginia Davis (John) of Maryland. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
