He was predeceased by: his parents, Seabrom Way and Wilma Way; his wife Lannette E. Pittman Way; his sister Mable DeJesus; and his nephew Mickey Way.
He is survived by: his son Michael Odell Way; his in-laws, John Arthur Pitman and Louise P. Nelson; and his nieces and nephews, Bryan C. Pittman, Murvi C. Dennis, Charles Dean Montgomery, Brandon J. Pittman, Kendrick A. Pittman, Matthew Stewart, Renee P. Montgomery (Charles), Lisa P. Dennis, Desiree Pittman, Karen Nelson, Lesley P. Thomas (Kwame), Tina E. Way, Yvette Stewart, Courtney Jackson, Zenophia Way and Elizabeth Stewart. He is also survived by cousins, great-nieces/nephews, friends and neighbors.
