She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Baxter Greene, Sr. and Novella Bessie Hatley Greene; and her husband Archie Glendale Carpenter. She is survived by: her children, Rebecca Dulin (Hamp) of Charlotte, Suzanne R. Burleson (Jerry) of Indian Trail, Archie Glendale Carpenter Jr. (Debra) of Wilmington and David W. Carpenter (Sandi) of New London; her brother Cecil Baxter Greene, Jr. (Polly); and her sister-in-law Bette Carpenter. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Aquadale Baptist Church (32871 Church St, Norwood, NC 28128).
