She was predeceased by: her mother Yevgeniya Melyanets (Schlaschko). She is survived by: her father Aleksey Melyanets; and her siblings, Yelena Volk (Slavic), Luba Zubko (Alex), Alex (Maria), Vera Melyanets, Sergey Melyanets, Sveta Shimanskiy (Vlad), Daniel Melyanets (Nadia), Natasha Melnichuk (Ben), Dina Melyanets and Benjamin Melyanets. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
