She was predeceased by: her husband James McMillan; and her brother Dr. Charles McEwen of Glasgow, UK.. She is survived by: her children, Barbara Browder (Jeff) and Stewart McMillan (Karen) of Tallahassee; her grandchildren, Christian, Matthew McMillan of Tallahassee and Shannon Sherman (Daniel) of Austin, TX; and her great grandchildren, Olivia and Isabelle. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Additionally, the family asks that any desired contributions be directed to the continued advancement of overcoming all types of dementia.
