He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Garcia and Beulah Garcia; and his brothers, Nick and Eddie Garcia. He is survived by: his wife Terry Garcia; his daughter Wendy "Kendall" Shaw (Claude); his stepsons, Hayden Poulin (Tara) and Josh Poulin; and his grandchildren, Nolan (Drew), Kendra, Santana, Teagan, Gavin, Vivianna, Rylan, Ainsley, Ben, Caleb and Aidan.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to NC Lions Camp Dogwood, 7062 Camp Dogwood Drive Sherrills Ford, North Carolina 28673 in memory of The Lost Boys.
