Though Merlina may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Merlina touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her siblings, Hasting Williams, Winston Williams Simon Williams, Euadora Marsh, Lydia Lopez, Telica Hewitt and Matilda Williams; her siblings-in-law, Oswald Marsh, Clarence Lopez, Juliet Williams and Nedine Williamsanf; and her aunt Edris Mignott. She was also cherished by nieces, grand and great grand nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the McEwen Funeral Service Inc. (10500 Park Rd, Charlotte, NC 28210). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the McEwen Funeral Service Pineville Chapel (10500 Park Rd, Charlotte, NC 28210).
