She was predeceased by: her parents, Idella Hunter and Frank Hunter; her husband Daniel Wakefield Shaver; and her siblings, Katherine, Betty, Frank and John.

She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia Shaver of Charlotte, NC and Phyllis Prevatt (Randy) of Fayetteville, NC; her grandchildren, Ricky, Nancy and Laurie; and her great grandchildren, Mason, Alyssa, Joseph, Fletcher and Adeline.
