She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Lemuel and Pauline Hamrick Waters. She is survived by: her husband Dale I. Gillis, Sr.; her son Joe Gillis (Mary); her grandson Carl of Navarre, FL; her son Dale I. Gillis, II; her grandchildren, Trey, Kristina and Chase of Mooresville, NC; her son Steve Gillis (April); her grandchildren, Savannah and Samuel of Mooresville, NC; her daughter Katherine Gillis of Lake Wylie, SC; her siblings, Jack Waters (Nora) of Shelby, NC, David Waters (Lisa) of Rock Hill, SC and Sue Morrison of Spartanburg, SC; and her great grandchildren, Declan, Harper, Camryn and Kennedy.
