Mary Jordan Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Jordan of Charlotte, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 4, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl G York and Mary York (Holt); and her siblings, Geneva Cash, Richard York, Edwin York, Betty Duvall, Elsie Mae York, Neal "Pete" York, Alvin York and David York.
She is survived by: her children, Jeff (Rhonda Jordan) and Malia Hartsell; her siblings, Peggy Cash, Marcella Shearin, Mack and Pinky York; her grandchildren, Christopher Johns, Jennifer Jordan and Jessica Jordan; and her great grandchildren, Brianna, Hayden, Lily, Jordan, Nova, Feenix, Jayce and Lydia. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cochran-McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel of McCaysville McCaysville Chapel (1478 Blue Ridge Dr, Blue Ridge, GA 30513). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Shady Grove Baptist Church (198 Shady Grove Rd, Murphy, NC 28906).
