She was predeceased by: her husband Jack C. Cathey; and her brother John Sutton Miller II. She is survived by: her sons, Robert A. Cathey (Barbara) of Chicago, IL and Dr. Jack M. Cathey (Anne) of Huntersville, NC; her grandchildren, Laura Cathey Lubinski, Paul Cathey, Joshua Cathey and Jessica Frank; and her great grandchild Darwin Lubinski. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Third Presbyterian Church would be most appreciated.
