She was predeceased by: her parents, Douglas Homer Furman and Margaret Roberta Crocker Furman. She is survived by: her husband Gerald "Jerry" R. Maslar of Charlotte, NC; and her children, Lisa Hyde (Steve), Valerie Sliker and Stephen Maslar (Carleen). She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
