She is survived by: her husband Donald P. Cheney; her children, Vince (Mariah) and Gladys; her grandsons, Preston Cheney and Paxton Cheney; and her brothers, Archie M. Barter (Gloria), James D. Barter (Beverly) and Will Barter. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Calvary Church (5801 Pineville-Matthews Rd, Charlotte, NC 28226-3432). A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at the Magnolia Memorial Gardens (5801 Pineville-Matthews Rd, Charlotte, NC 28226-3432).
