She is survived by: her siblings, Carolyn Simpson, Doris S. Clowney, Mary S. Singleton (Spencer), Patricia Howze, Paulette Howze, Rachel Howze, Bradshaw Simpson (Lynn), Richard Simpson (Kim), Dwight Simpson, Vernon Simpson (Barbara), Romeo Howze, Jr. (Deborah) and Michael Howze; her cousins, Leroy Thorns (Peggy) and Charles Thorns (Lisa); and her aunts, Beatrice and Susie. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
