He is survived by: his wife Yvonne Clemmons; his children, Jai, Denise, Luther Jr. (Butch), Van Fitzgerald (Fitz) and Pamela Ann; his stepchildren, Karla and Lemm; his grandchildren, Larry, Conor, Darius, Lorenzo, Jennifer, Joshua, Christopher, Lydia, Julian and Giselle; his great grandchildren, Amir, Laylah, Haven, August, Chayton, Jacy, Christopher Jr., Daniel, Destiny, Austin, Nathan, Anthony, Amiyah, Adonis, Ayonna, Eli, Liam and Amelia; and his siblings, Julian, Younger and Barbara. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Friendship Missionary Baptist Church (3301 Beatties Ford Rd, Charlotte, NC 28216). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Salisbury National Cemetery (501 Statesville Blvd, Salisbury, NC 28144).
