With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Luther Bunyan Yaun Jr. of Charlotte, North Carolina, born in Bishopville, South Carolina, who passed away on October 21, 2023 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Bunyan and Ruth Flowers Yaun; and his siblings, Julia Ann Stalvey, Peggy Ford and Ralph Yaun (Sandra) of Wilmington, NC..

He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Conley Yaun; his sons, Matthew Len Yaun (Beth) of Charleston, SC, Mark Andrew Yaun and Robin Conley Yaun (Christy) of Greensboro, NC.; his grandchildren, Dorothy, Matthew, Burket Yaun of Charleston, SC, Jacob, Aidan, Eliot Yaun of Greensboro, NC, Calvin, Olivia and Ava Toland of Greensboro, NC.; and his pet Henry. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
