She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Frederick and Lucy Ellen McIntyre; her husband Jim Saunders; her sons-in-law, Frank Ponce and Rick West; her brothers, Frederick, Donald and Billy McIntyre; her sisters-in-law, Louise McIntyre and June McIntyre; her niece Diane McIntyre Skiba; and her nephew Mike McIntyre.
She is survived by: her children, Monte Saunders of Charlotte, Karen Ponce of Charlotte, Amy West of Charlotte and Julie Brindle of Fort Mill, SC.; her grandchildren, Paul (Monica), Daniel (Sarah), David Ponce (Deming), Mac and Leah Brindle; her son-in-law Barry Brindle; and her friends, Matt Bradshaw and Billy Green.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital; or to the charity of your choice in Lucy's honor.
