She is survived by: her husband Larry Franklin Swaringen; her children, Kevin McKee Swaringen (Chanda) of Lincolnton, NC, Sherri Swaringen Barth (Danny) of Charlotte, NC and Shelly Lynn Black (Daniel) of Charlotte, NC; and her grandchildren, Christopher McKee Swaringen, Katherine Mackenzie Swaringen, Samantha Leigh Barth, Lawrence Jay Barth, Melinda Kay Barth, Emmalyn Joy Barth, Josephine Faith Barth, Theodore Jude Barth, Abigail Grace Black and Jacob Anakin Black.
