She was predeceased by: her parents, Obie Simms and Ellie Simms; and her children, Lisa Meredith, Michael Meredith and William Meredith.

She is survived by: her daughter Lori Fultz Schmitt; her son-in-law Dale; and her grandchildren, Sarah Colbert (Darion), Jacob Fultz (Joanna), Bekah Fultz and Michaela Meredith. She is also survived by three siblings and many nieces and nephews.
