He was predeceased by: his parents, George Zaharopoulos and Eloeni Zaharopoulos (Katsanos); and his wife Androniki. He is survived by: his children, George Zaharopoulos (Maria) and Eleni Zaharopoulos. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, brothers and sisters.
A prayer was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral (600 East Blvd, Charlotte, NC 28203). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 1:15 PM at the Evergreen City Cemetery (4426 Central Ave, Charlotte, NC 28205).
