Though Kerry Robert may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Kerry Robert touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his father Walter Poynter of Greencastle, IN. He is survived by: his mother Thalia Clodfelter of Gastonia, NC.; his children, Mark Poynter of Greencastle, IN and Cara; his sisters, Kathy Lee, Lea Ann Scoby of Gastonia and Gail Poynter (Ronna) of Belmont; and his girlfriend Carolyn Summerlin of Charlotte.
The family will hold a private remembrance for Kerry and in lieu of flowers they ask for any donations to go to American Heart Association.
