He was predeceased by: his parents, Ida Miller, and Johnnie F Miller, Sr.; and his siblings, Ruth Shepperd, Johnnie F Miller, Jr., Robert Miller and Dennis Miller.
He is survived by: his aunt Irma Ayers; his wife Jackie; his stepchildren, Craig Brown, Libby Noelke (Matt) and Sharon Mack (Richard); his cousin Rick Ayers (Martha); and his nephew Mike Miller (Kelly).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks friends to consider making donations to the Southminster Community Fund, 8919 Park Road, Charlotte, N.C. 28210 or to the Kenneth Rhudar Miller Carolina Covenant Endowment Fund at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
