He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lee Chambers and Matilda Bruton Chambers; his siblings, Antionette Chambers Henderson of Galveston, TX, Julius Levonne Chambers of Charlotte, NC and Willard "Billy" Chambers (Washington, DC); his son Kenneth H. Chambers, Jr.; and his grandfather Paw-Paw.
He is survived by: his wife Grace Whaley; his children, Senetra A. Williams (Roger), Carla Chambers and Cedric D. Chambers (Shalona); his grandchildren, Faiger'Grea'Blackwell, II (Maryna), Cayden Chambers, Skylar Chambers and Kendric Chambers; his great grandchild Faiger "Greacito" Blackwell, III; and also Dr. Clifford A. Jones, Sr.. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
Although the COVID-19 pandemic put the conversation on hold temporarily, on November 18, 2023, the Kenneth H. Chambers, MD Center of Excellence in Maternal and Women's Health (KHCCOE) was established.
