She was predeceased by: her parents, G. H. Harwood, Sr. and Kate McGalliard Harwood of Charlotte, NC.; her husband Jack E. Parrott, Sr.; and her sister Ruth Harwood York of Charlotte. She is survived by: her brother G. H. Harwood, Jr. of Cherryville, NC; her son Kenneth Wesley "Bird" Cooper, Jr. (Patty); her grandson Garrett of Charlotte, NC; and her daughter Sherrie Vandergriff (Larry Hale) of Charlotte. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and her Grand Dogs.
In lieu of flowers, it is requested that donations be made to Gentiva Hospice of Monroe, 1428 Ellen Street, Monroe, NC 28112 for their loving care to Kathryn in her final months.
