We are sad to announce that on December 12, 2023, at the age of 71, Kathleen Ripton McGibbon of Charlotte, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Elizabeth Amy Ripton (McIntyre) and Dr. David Tully Ripton; and her siblings, Ann McIntyre (Ripton), Mary Susan McIntyre (Ripton), Patrick Ripton, John Ripton (Nancy), Mark Ripton and William Ripton.
She is survived by: her husband Gary; her children, Ann Lowder (Kyle) of Charlotte, NC and David McGibbon (Danny) of Charlotte, NC; her granddaughter Mary Grace Lowder; and her siblings, David Ripton, Jr. (Ella), Stephen Ripton (Marianne), Betsy Ripton and Ellen Ripton. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
